Belk, Inc. Implements Connect3 Promotion Manager using Accelerated Oracle Implementation
Advanced offer management, on-line proofing and automated advertising production drives accuracy and efficiencies while enabling advanced versioning..

Cerritos, CA - June 11, 2007 --- Connect3 Systems, Inc., the leading provider of enterprise Advertising, Merchandising and Promotion (AMP) solutions and services for retailers, announced today that Belk, Inc., the largest privately owned department store company in the U.S., has licensed and implemented Connect3’s AMP Performance Series solutions.

Using Connect3’s core Promotion Manager application in conjunction with Connect3 Professional Services’ Accelerated Oracle Implementation strategy, Belk has enabled a collaborative enterprise solution for efficiently planning and managing complex offers, building highly versioned promotions and efficiently executing those promotions.

Belk’s implementation of Connect3 includes the integration of Connect3 Promotion Manager with Belk’s existing merchandising, inventory and POS systems. Belk now uses Connect3 Workflow Manager to provide additional visibility and control of the promotion process and Connect3 Proofing Manager, developed in partnership with Belk, to provide all participants in the promotion process the ability to preview in-process promotions using a web interface, eliminating costly manual proofing steps.

Connect3’s AMP Performance Series consists of a highly configurable AMP Foundation and Application Framework and developed using standard’s-based technology. It provides smart client and web-based planning, analytic, merchandising, advertising, reporting and workflow tools that enable merchandising, marketing and advertising departments to collaborate cross-category to efficiently plan, manage and execute highly versioned cross-media promotions.
