The Connect3 Management Team

Dale Byrne, President and CEO

Dale is the founder of Connect3, remains the majority shareholder in the employee-owned Company and is active in driving the vision and overall operations of the Company.

His background combines 35 years in retail, computer services and merchandising software and consulting experience with a vision and commitment to producing dramatic improvements in the productivity and effectiveness of retail space and category management as well as AMP processes. Dale has personally consulted with over 500 industry leading retailers and suppliers and has played key roles in several successful merchandising software companies including ABA Groups (Apollo) and Logistics Data Systems (SPACEMAN).

In 1990, he co-founded Intactix International which quickly grew in 6 years from 2 to 250 associates in 12 countries with a complete suite of space and category management software and consulting solutions used by over 3,000 retailer and supplier customers. Intactix was later acquired by JDA Software where the Intactix brand remains the most used space management system in the world.

In July 1998, he acquired the Connect3 product and team to form Connect3 Systems, Inc. which is located in Cerritos, California (See Company History). Dale has a BS, an MBA and a Certificate in Food Marketing Management from the University of Southern California.

Dan Pahomi, Executive Vice President Strategic Projects

Dan's current role includes working with the Business Development team to manage the customer contract process, working with strategic accounts to assure fast customer ROI on new product initiatives and working with the Product Management team to drive strategic R&D projects that will determine the future direction of Connect3's products and services. Mr. Pahomi joined Connect3 in 1995 as a Senior Business Consultant and has also held various positions within the organization including Quality Assurance, Professional Services, Product Management and several Executive Management positions.

Prior to joining Connect3, Dan was a business process re-engineering specialist in the insurance industry. Mr. Pahomi studied Business Administration and Management at Liberty University and California State University at Northridge.

Michael Knight, Vice President, Professional Services

Michael's role with Connect3 is to develop and manage the Services organization. In this role he applies his retail and management experience to help Connect3 customers develop strategic business initiatives using best-practice AMP processes and Connect3 software solutions that have significant bottom line impact.

Michael has over 25 years experience in retailing from both the store operations and merchandising perspectives. Most recently, he led the merchandising efforts for a large US operating company of a large international retailer. This operating company was recognized for having 32 consecutive years of increasing sales and bottom line profits. His division grew significant market share over the previous seven years while it faced major super center growth and intrusion.

Michael also served as the Senior Vice President of Merchandising for a business unit with sales in excess of $4.5 billion dollars. He has been involved in numerous systems development and implementations during his retail tenure with proven leadership in planning, developing and implementing effective programs to increase profitability and ensure continued growth in sales, market share and profits. He is a specialist in the Category Management business process, pricing strategies, promotional planning and merchandising placement strategies.

Michael has a BS from the Pennsylvania State University.

Margaret Austin Byrne, Vice President, Marketing and Business Development

In her dual role, Margaret oversees the communication of Connect3's position in the marketplace by developing and managinginternal and external marketing programs while she also manages the Business Development or Sales function.

Prior to Connect3, Margaret worked as Director, Business Development for Catalina Marketing, a leading supplier of targeted marketing programs and President of the U.S. operations of Pricer, Inc., a provider of electronic shelf label systems. Before joining Pricer she was VP Marketing for Intactix International, the leading supplier of space management solutions worldwide where she managed all trade show, public relations and marketing activities. Prior to Intactix, Margaret held a range of operational and marketing roles for ERS, a provider of electronic shelf label technology.

Margaret has a BS in Business Administration from Western Connecticut University.
